I have surround sound headphones and there are 3 jacks at the end to plug into something. What adapter do I need to merge those 3 jacks into one cord to plug them in. See pictures. My friend set up surround system on my pc because it was too complicated for me and it works.
I bought these special surround sound headphones with 3 speakers in each ear piece – Zalman 6M MOdel ZM-RS6F+M and I have logitech surround sound system. I wanted to listen to surround sound while my boarder is sleeping because he works night shift and I work day shift.
From the instructions it looks like the 3 plugs on the headphones would plug straight into the back of my pc, which makes sense since there are 3 plugs there now. They are color coded but the colors don’t match the colors of the headphone (they match the colors for the existing surround system plugs). When I unplug and plug back in the software asks questions about whether it is inline, outline etc and I don’t really know/understand how to answer.
If I try experimenting is it likely/possible that if I put the existing surround sound plugs back where they were that it will stop working? It will ask me questions and I’m not sure if the default answer will be ok.
I just want to try the headphones without risking stuffing up my surround sound.

I just bought Turtle Beach HPA2 5.1 surround sound headphones and I am dismayed that my realtek digital soundcard doesn’t support these. I am wondering two things: 1. Since the 5.1 headphones have like 3 different cables (C/S,Front,Rear audio cables) is it even worth keeping them just to have the front audio? Or just buy regular headphones, my soundcard doesn’t support 5.1 i know this.
And if i wanted to return them, please recommend good headphones for me (I love playing TF2 its like counter-strike) and i want to hear surround sound. ANd also i wanted a new microphone because mine broke. Please help.
