Bluetooth Headphones Review: Sennheiser RS-120 Wireless RF Headphones

Produced by Sennheiser, a world-renowned leader in sound innovation and hi-fidelity audio devices, the Sennheiser RS-120 Wireless RF Headphones are just as good as bluetooth headphones when it comes to sound quality and convenience.  Both make use of wireless technologies that allow you to forget about wires and cables.

Both bluetooth headphones and wireless headphones (more commonly referred to as RF, or radio frequency, headphones) essentially use the same method for transmitting and receiving data across connected devices.  Both types use radio signals.  The Sennheiser RS-120 Wireless RF Headphones, being radio frequency devices, share similar characteristics and limitations as other devices that make use of radio waves.

To make sure that your enjoyment of your audio is continuous, the Sennheiser RS-120 comes with nothing less than nickel metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries, which are popular for their longer lifespan, lack of memory effect, fast charging, and ability for partial charging.  No need to grapple with power cords for this one either.  Just hang the headphones on the metal rack of the transmitter base unit, and it starts charging right away.  The base unit can even be mounted on a wall, if you prefer.  The packaging doesn’t come with mounting material, though.

The Sennheiser RS-120 Wireless RF Headphones may not be bluetooth headphones at all, yet they can be great alternatives for use with your radio, stereo system, TV, DVD player, game console, or even your personal computer.
